While I am working out the kinks with my sewing machine I have resolved to finish off this canvas. It's almost done (excluding the water, which will be done as the final step on all canvases), so finishing it in the next two weeks should be straightforward.

I forgot to take an intermediate photo of this guy after I had done the body but before I had added the topstiching. Ah, well. Sorry again for the photography, I promise the fish is more more nuanced looking under different light.
